Extracted from the quartz-rich highlands of Minas Gerais, principally from the regions of Corinto, Araçuaí and the Vale do Jequitinhonha, the Hematoid Crystal is a rare variety of natural quartz enriched by inclusions of hematite. These mineral formations create exclusive patterns in reddish and golden tones, making each piece truly unique.

Stone

A transparent to translucent quartz containing natural inclusions of hematite (iron oxide) and, in some cases, limonite. These inclusions are responsible for the reddish, orange, golden and sometimes brown tones that make each piece unique.

Beyond its striking beauty, it stands out for its high resistance and exclusivity, one of the most sophisticated choices in natural stone design.

Origin

Very few quarries in the world produce hematoid crystal with this density of golden inclusions. The combination of translucency and warm mineral colour results from a precise geological condition that cannot be replicated artificially. Each block presents an absolutely unique vein pattern, impossible to reproduce.

Rose Quartz, known in Brazil as Cristal Rosa, carries one of the softest and most luminous tones in natural stone. Its translucency and gentle pink glow bring warmth to interiors without any hardness of colour.

The mineral forms in cavities within igneous rocks known as pegmatites; its signature pink hue comes from microscopic traces of manganese, titanium, or iron, or from internal fibrous inclusions.

Origin

Rose quartz, popularly known as pink crystal, is mined primarily in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, with the Jequitinhonha Valley and Governador Valadares standing out as key sources. Brazil is one of the world's largest producers of this gem. Notable occurrences also appear in Bahia, Rio Grande do Norte (known for more intensely coloured specimens), and Paraíba.

Bahia Beige, known in Brazil as Bege Bahia, is the country's national travertine: a warm, light-toned limestone with soft natural variation that brings quiet elegance to any interior.

Stone

A sedimentary limestone of the travertine type, formed during the Cretaceous period from ancient limestone deposits and saline waters. Research shows the area once held ancient seas and evaporites (dissolved salts) dating to the period when the supercontinent Pangaea was breaking apart.

The stone is known for excellent thermal performance, high porosity, and natural variation in light tones.

Origin

Bahia Beige marble, known as Brazil's national travertine, is quarried primarily in the Irecê Basin and Chapada Diamantina region, centered on the municipalities of Ourolândia and Jacobina in the state of Bahia. Extraction began in the 1950s, initially for paving stone before expanding into fine architectural cladding.

Extracted exclusively in the south of Bahia, principally in Itaju do Colônia, Floresta Azul and Rio Pardo, the Sodalita Azul is one of the rarest and most sophisticated ornamental rocks in the world. Its intense blue, combined with delicate natural white veins, gives it a striking and unmistakable appearance.

Internationally recognised as Azul Bahia, it is widely used in high-end projects where exclusivity, elegance and durability are essential.

Stone

Sodalite is a rare mineral from the feldspathoid family, formed in alkaline igneous rocks. Its intense blue is the result of sodium and aluminium in its crystalline structure. The white veins are calcite.

Brazil holds one of the most important reserves of blue sodalite on earth, concentrated exclusively in the Alkaline Province of Southern Bahia, principally in the municipalities of Itaju do Colônia, Floresta Azul, Rio Pardo and Itarantim.

Origin

Each block presents designs exclusively created by nature, no two pieces share the same pattern of blue and white. Brazil holds one of the only significant reserves of ornamental-quality sodalite in the world. Its availability is genuinely limited by the size of the deposit.

Care: Protect from prolonged direct sunlight. Clean with a neutral product and soft cloth. Seal every 12 months.

Extracted from one of the rarest deposits in the world, in the south of Bahia, principally from the historic Fazenda Hiassu quarry in Itaju do Colônia, Azul Bahia is one of the most exclusive natural stones in luxury architecture.

Commercially exploited since the 1960s, its deposit occupies a remarkably small area, which explains its scarcity and high international value.

Stone

Despite its commercial name 'granite', Azul Bahia is geologically an igneous rock rich in sodalite (foiaite / syenite with sodalite). Its intense blue colouration results from the high concentration of sodalite crystals, combined with white feldspars and dark minerals.

Each block presents a completely different pattern, colour, veining and mineral concentration vary with every extraction.

Origin

The deposits occupy an extremely limited area in southern Bahia, making Azul Bahia one of the rarest blue natural stones in the world. Pieces are announced individually as material becomes available. The Fazenda Hiassu quarry is historically the most renowned source.

Care: Avoid acidic products and abrasive cleaners. Clean with a soft damp cloth and neutral pH product. Apply stone sealant every 12 months. Handle with care during installation given the stone's exceptional value.

Quartz with Black Tourmaline, known in Brazil as Cristal com Turmalina, pairs luminous white quartz with the deep graphite needles of schorl tourmaline, a contrast that exists only where the two minerals crystallised side by side.

Stone

White quartz and black tourmaline grow together inside pegmatites, coarse-grained igneous rocks formed from the last, mineral-rich fluids of a cooling magma. The tourmaline appears as dark prismatic needles suspended within or across the translucent quartz body.

Extremely hard and durable, with striking depth when lit from above.

Origin

White quartz crystal with black tourmaline in Brazil comes primarily from the state of Minas Gerais, with a strong presence in Bahia as well. These minerals form together in rocks called pegmatites. Minas Gerais is the country's principal production hub, especially the Jequitinhonha Valley and municipalities such as Coronel Murta, Salinas, and Araçuaí. Bahia is another Brazilian state with important deposits of raw minerals and quartz-with-tourmaline aggregates.

A metamorphic rock formed when limestone undergoes intense heat and pressure over millions of years. Its crystalline structure changes under temperature and pressure, and its pure white colour comes from the absence of impure minerals in the original rock matrix.

Origin

The world's principal quarrying regions are Italy (Carrara and Tuscany), Greece (Thassos and Macedonia) and Brazil (Paraná). Carrara, in Italy's Apuan Alps, is the source of the renowned Carrara and Calacatta marbles. Thassos and Kavala, in Greece, are known for an exceptionally homogeneous, pure white stone. In Brazil, Paraná's quarries yield the well-known Paraná White Marble.
